by | Sep 11, 2025 | Sauna Category

More and more people are prioritizing their health, and installing an infrared sauna at home offers both convenience and the ability to relax anytime. Do you know how to use the indoor infrared sauna control panel? Don’t worry, I’ll guide you through the process step by step, so you can learn how to use it and enjoy the sauna experience.

Preparation Before Use

Before using an infrared sauna, you need to make some preparations. This includes ensuring that the power cord and heating device are properly connected and checking that everything is working correctly before turning it on, as well as preparing your personal sauna accessories.

Check Power Supply and Safety Measures

Before using the device, first connect the power cord to the heating unit. After checking the connection, power on the device and verify that it is functioning correctly. Check that the infrared sauna control panel is in standby mode and that the power plug is securely connected to avoid any damage or malfunctions during operation. Also, ensure that the grounding wire is properly connected to prevent electrical shock or leakage, thus ensuring safety.

Prepare Your Personal Items and Sauna Accessories

During a sauna, the body sweats profusely as the air inside the sauna room heats up. Therefore, it’s recommended to have drinking water on hand to stay hydrated. Towels should also be available for wiping sweat, or they can be used to cover the seats to maintain cleanliness. Using sauna accessories such as a sauna timer and a sauna thermometer helps to control the sauna time and temperature effectively. To create a more relaxing atmosphere, you can also add a few drops of essential oil to a sauna aroma bowl to release a pleasant fragrance and enhance the overall experience.

Furthermore, we offer customizable infrared sauna control panels. Our infrared sauna control panels are available in two styles: push-button and touch-screen. The push-button version is made of polypropylene (PP), which boasts corrosion resistance, excellent insulation, and is recyclable. Outdoor Infrared Sauna Rooms

The front of the outdoor infrared sauna rooms features a design with glass windows and doors, providing a wide view of the surrounding scenery. Infrared heating panels are installed on the backrest and seat base for a comfortable and even heat distribution. The infrared sauna control panel is located on the central wall and includes a temperature sensor to monitor the sauna temperature in real time, ensuring safety. To withstand outdoor conditions, the saunas require a sturdy base, either made of fiberglass or a wooden base, for moisture resistance, durability, and stability.

The infrared heating panel heats up to approximately 65 degrees Celsius. For a higher temperature sauna experience, you can also install the microcrystalline glass carbon fiber heater tube inside the sauna room. These are usually designed to be mounted on the backrest and can be flexibly installed in various locations other than the glass panels.
Adding infrared sauna heaters not only speeds up the heating process in a sauna room, but as our Alphasauna tests have shown, with infrared sauna heaters, the temperature in an infrared sauna can rise from 65°C to 75°C in just 45 minutes. It can also provide targeted red light therapy for specific areas of the body, further enhancing the sauna’s effectiveness and user experience.

FAQS

Question1:Why Choose an Infrared Sauna over a Traditional Steam Sauna?

Answer: Infrared saunas provide gentler heating (45-65 degrees Celsius) but can penetrate deeply into the skin and muscles, promoting metabolism. Compared to traditional high-temperature steam saunas, they don’t feel stuffy or oppressive, making them suitable for people with lower heat tolerance, and even elderly people and children can enjoy them with adult supervision.Furthermore, they’re easy to use, with the infrared sauna control panel allowing users to adjust temperature, time, and lighting.

Question2:Is Installing and Using an Indoor Infrared Sauna Complicated?

Answer: Indoor infrared saunas feature a modular design for easy installation, typically requiring only 1-2 hours. All that’s needed is sufficient space and a power outlet. The operation is also very simple. After plugging it in, you can start the sauna with a single button on the infrared sauna control panel and easily adjust the temperature, time, lighting, and music. Even first-time users can easily learn how to operate it. If needed, a user manual is provided to help you learn and master its functions.

Question3:Is Cleaning and Maintaining an Infrared Sauna Difficult?

Answer:After using the sauna, promptly clean any dust from inside the sauna room, wipe away any remaining sweat with a soft cloth, and then lightly wipe the wooden surfaces with a damp cloth. After cleaning, open the door to allow ventilation and maintain airflow. Avoid using chemical cleaning products.

Question 4: What Are the Space Requirements for an Indoor Infrared Sauna Room?

Answer: At Alphasauna, we offer a variety of indoor infrared sauna rooms in different sizes. Our smaller indoor infrared sauna room require only 1-2 square meters of space, making them compact enough to fit easily into any home, allowing you to enjoy a private sauna experience at any time. Larger models require more space, but as long as the floor is level and there is a stable power supply, they can be easily installed and operated.
