The customer purchased this hot tub for personal use. Made of cedar wood, the hot tub measures 2100*1200mm and features an external wood stove. The advantage of the external wood stove is that it increases the internal space, allowing for more people to enjoy the tub.

The customer initially reached out through Alibaba to inquire about the price of our hot tub. To provide a prompt response, I requested their contact information for WhatsApp, and we continued our communication there.

Why Did the Customer Choose Cedar Wood?

The customer had a strong preference for cedar wood and was very particular about using this material. From the beginning, they specifically requested cedar wood, and we provided a quote accordingly. However, the customer noticed that our price was significantly higher than other suppliers, who offered lower quotes. Despite this, the customer was reluctant to continue discussions with me.

Recognizing the customer’s concerns, I initially suggested they consider an alternative material and provided a new quote. However, the customer wasn’t interested in other materials and remained committed to cedar. I then proposed a smaller size, but the customer declined that option as well.

To keep the conversation going, I shared numerous product and production photos with the customer, showcasing our professionalism as a hot tub supplier. I emphasized that we have our own factory, produce in large quantities, and collaborate with many major companies. I also reassured them that all our cedar materials are imported from Canada.

I explained that cedar wood comes in different grades, and the prices vary depending on the grade. After a better understanding of our quality and pricing structure, the customer ultimately decided to place the order with us.
