Alphasauna Team – March Meeting Summary

The meeting took place from 10 AM to 10 PM on April 15, 2022. Although it was quite long, we gained valuable insights from the discussions.

Problems Encountered by Our Customers

Our Alphasauna sales team consists of 12 members. During the meeting, each team member shared their challenges and how they resolved them when negotiating with customers.

For example, many customers face financial difficulties due to the pandemic, along with challenges such as material shortages, high shipping costs, and more. The key question is: what can Alphasauna do to support these customers?

This insight was shared by our Sales Director, who mainly works with large wholesalers from Europe and has extensive experience exporting sauna products from China.

She discussed one particular customer dealing with a funding issue. Most of their funds were tied up in other products, leaving insufficient money to purchase our sauna products. Since the pandemic, doing business in the European market has become increasingly difficult. Additionally, the rising price of fir wood has made it harder for many customers, including this one, to afford products. This is a challenge faced by many of our customers, not just this particular one.

When customers prefer cedar wood, but the price exceeds their budget, we recommend alternative materials such as pine, hemlock, and thermowood. While red cedar remains the most popular choice, we often suggest thermowood as it closely resembles red cedar in both color and function. Thermowood is anti-corrosive, anti-insect, free of harmful substances, and better suited for outdoor use. It is expected to become a popular replacement for red cedar in the near future.

For materials in short supply, especially when customers face budget constraints, we offer flexible deposit options to help reduce costs. This allows us to reserve materials for customers before prices increase, ensuring they get the best value.
