The Importance of Fire Safety

Fires are the most common, most destructive, and most harmful disasters in everyday life, directly impacting the safety of people’s lives and property. Therefore, it is crucial to understand that “safety is efficiency” and “fire safety is the foundation for all other work.” We must firmly embrace the principle of “safety first,” treating production safety as a responsibility to the public. Responsibilities should be clearly defined and implemented rigorously. We must always be prepared for potential dangers and focus on prevention. Since Alphasauna’s products are made of solid wood, fire safety must be a top priority.

Strengthen Fire Safety Knowledge

In the event of a fire, when our lives are at risk while awaiting rescue, knowing how to use the surrounding environment and objects for effective self-rescue can significantly improve our chances of escape. Fire evacuation cannot rely solely on quick thinking in the moment. Only by continuously learning and mastering fire safety knowledge can we effectively respond to emergencies. Therefore, we must become familiar with the proper use of fire-fighting equipment, fire escape procedures, personnel evacuation protocols, and self-rescue techniques.

Fire Safety Training: Learning to Use Common Firefighting Equipment

During this exercise, we learned how to properly use common firefighting equipment for home and workplace safety.

Foam Fire Extinguisher

Suitable for extinguishing general fires, including oil, grease, and other flammable substances.
How to use: Stand approximately 10 meters from the fire, invert the cylinder, hold the lifting ring with one hand and the bottom ring with the other, and aim the nozzle at the burning object.

Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher

Effective for fires involving solid combustibles, flammable liquids, gases, and electrical equipment.
How to use: Carry the extinguisher by hand or on your shoulder, quickly approach the fire scene, place the extinguisher about 5 meters from the flames, press the opening lever, and direct the extinguisher toward the fire.
